PANZ is committed to maintaining and encouraging a high standard of professionalism within our industry. PANZ is involved in a range of initiatives to help new people enter the publishing industry and to ensure that existing personnel enjoy ongoing professional development opportunities.
PANZ Workshop 2013: Publishers Navigating Change
Publishers Navigating Change is the title of our PANZ Workshop to be held on Friday 8 March from 9am until 5.30pm. We have an impressive line-up of speakers, both international and NZ-based, covering a range of topics that face all publishers now.
Featuring separate sessions for educational and trade publishers in the morning, with both groups coming together for the afternoon topics.
Grab this opportunity to listen, participate and discuss with your fellow publishers. We have kept the price low to encourage attendance from as many publishing staff as possible. PANZ members' special rate is $220, which includes lunch and networking drinks.
We have chosen the Villa Maria Winery in Mangere, Auckland as the ideal venue both for the setting and for the proximity to the airport (10 minutes).
PANZ TRAINING FUND
PANZ offers an industry Training Fund to which all members are eligible to apply. With generous support and sponsorship from Copyright Licensing NZ, relevant training courses both at home and abroad can now be accessible to successful applicants.
This is a significant development within the organisation and one which PANZ Council hopes will be recognised as a major benefit to the organisation's membership.
Dates you can apply:
- Round 1: Call for entries 4 March.
- Round 2: Call for entries September.
Round 1 applications are due 5pm Friday 22 March 2013.
